Virtual Currency Kiosk Regulation
This bipartisan bill regulates virtual currency kiosks (Bitcoin ATMs) in Wisconsin. It passed the Assembly on February 18, 2026, and the Senate unanimously 33-0 on March 17, 2026. Governor signed it into law on April 8, 2026 as 2025 Wisconsin Act 226. The bill had broad bipartisan support with dozens of co-sponsors from both parties.
